Rebellion has officially revealed that Sniper Elite V2 Remastered is indeed a thing following yesterday's leak, and due for release later this year. The Oxford-based studio has also confirmed that it's working on a follow-up to Sniper Elite 4, that we're going to stick our neck out and say will be called Sniper Elite 5. Then again, it might not.

Confirmation of Sniper Elite V2 Remastered also brings with it a new reveal trailer, in which you can get a first look at Karl Fairburne's mission in which he's deployed to Berlin in 1945. This version of 2012's Sniper Elite V2 will include enhanced 4K visuals with HDR, as well as a range of new features, such as new playable characters, a photo mode, and expanded multiplayer mode for up to 16 players.

Sniper Elite V2 Remastered will also bundle all of the DLC released for the original game, meaning you can kill Hitler all over again. Sniper Elite V2 Remastered heads to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC in 2019. The new Sniper Elite title currently in development with the first details to be revealed sometime in 2020.
